Do we get any benefit from a separate rate my team section?

I think a rate my team thread in the fantasy section would work just as well.

The way it will work is, it will be a separate section that allows people to post their own threads dedicated solely to their team/questions. So they will be able to specify if they are Overall or H2H.

As for benefit. It could encourage more people to help out as there will be a benefit to reviewing someones team. It also allows the discussion to remain on that particular persons team, without other teams clouding the discussion.

We could run just a separate thread.

A separate thread sounds good. Not a fan of specific threads for individual teams, it becomes a nightmare to navigate.

In the "Post Options" , is it possible to have the "Notify me when a reply is posted" box Un-checked as a default setting ?

I keep forgetting to un-check it Bang

    Let's be honest.

We are all going to talk about the same 35 players all off season that every other forum is going to talk about while we jerk each other and say our group know all the best PODs.

And our entire analysis is going to be "This guy got injured after 11 minutes in one game. If you take that game out his average is 3.4 points higher than he's priced."

Letting everyone post their own thread might not be the best way to go as it may make it more of a hassle to get through everyone's. Just have a thread in the fantasy section and everyone just posts their teams for critique. It may be a bit chaotic in the week before the season and in the first 3 weeks where you can really fix up any mistakes, but once the season really gets going it will just tick along nicely as we could still just ask general questions of who to cut for player X in the fantasy threads anyway but it just stops it being clogged by a whole run down of someone's team and could fill a whole page worth of responses for the use of only 1 member.

Why is the sports section of a sports forum below the general section?

Been busy the last few weeks so not sure how new it is....but I do like the new website logo/banner.

Only issue/suggestion is that there is a distinct lack of Broncos players within this banner.

If this is truly going to be the new dawn of Sportal, then you really should be paying homage to the fact Sportal was essentially an unofficial Broncos forum.

If mitch was around he would ensure this is a priority.

I like it as well and even though I can't stand the Broncos as it's a fantasy site CP13 should be in there.

EDIT, before someone tells me to make a new one I wouldn't have a clue.

Yep, banner looks tremendous, well done Honeysett.

(does that explain the lack of Broncs and also how on Earth Hodkinson in a Blues jersey managed to sneak on there)!

I looked at adding in Parker. He was one of the draftees that didn't make the cut for whatever reason, I can change it up as much as we like. The pictures I chose blended together the best.

Hodko made it in because I made the banner and fuck you guys Smile

Yeah I may look at moving the sports forum above the general discussion stuff. However it is nice having the News/Suggestions near the top as well as the Introductions (Which sees 0 use so may be removed.) So it would be odd having a section dedicated entirely to general discussion.
